Presentation of Chimie Pékin

Established jointly by Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) and a Consortium of French Universities and Grandes Ecoles in Chemistry from Gay-Lussac Federation (Chimie Paristech – PSL University, Centrale Lille Institut, CPE Lyon, ENSGTI Pau and Toulouse INP ENSIACET), Paris Curie Engineer School (Chimie Pékin) is the first Sino-French institute in chemistry in China, approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education (MoE) in 2017, with its first promotion welcomed in September 2017. Today, around 80 students are admitted each year.

Backed by the know-how of BUCT and the French Engineering Schools in chemistry in both teaching and research, Chimie Pékin introduces the French engineering education system in a China-based multicultural environment. Students are trained to master multidisciplinary skills, innovative spirit, communication competences in multiple languages and professional adaptibility. The whole cycle covers 6.5 years compsed of  a 3-years preparatory cycle and 3.5-years engineering cycle).

Research & Innovation Club

Thanks to a high-level and complementary cooperation of Chinese and French higher education, Chimie Pékin creates an international teaching environment with highly qualified professors from France and China.

In order to improve student’s creativity and professional skills, Chimie Pékin establish cooperations with Chinese and International companies. Industrial partners are invited to give speches and conferences to the students, alongside job offers, internship opportunities, as well as research project development.

Cooperation

By joining our “Research & Innovation” Club, companies may promote research cooperation in benefiting from the academic and technical ressources of our School, and have access to well-trained young students for interships and recruitement. Specifically, Chimie Pékin works on the following issues to gurantee a close cooperation with our member companies:

-       Promote of internship and job offers to the students ;

-       Participate to the organisation of campus job fairs and invite our member companies ;

-       Privilege access to students ;

-       Introduce to professors and research staffs (not limited in Chimie Pékin) ;

-       Get support from BUCT for joint laboratory establishment ;

-       Organize keynote lectures ;

-       Organize visits to companies and vice versa.
